Kayla joined Danmar Pet Resort in January 2017, bringing a strong work ethic and a deep passion for animal care. She began her career with the company as a Pet Care Professional and quickly rose through the ranks, earning the role of Resort Manager through her dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Now serving as General Manager, Kayla oversees daily operations, team development, and the continued delivery of the high-quality care Danmar is known for. Her hands-on experience and deep understanding of the resort’s values make her an essential part of the leadership team.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her family and her four beloved dogs—Lilly, Lola, Nugget, and Darla.

Alex Ketchelos stepped into the role of Director of Business Development at Danmar Pet Resort with a long-standing connection to the company. He first joined Danmar in 2013 as a kennel attendant and has been present for many of the key moments that shaped the business. As the son-in-law of the founders, Alex brings both a personal and professional commitment to Danmar’s continued growth. Now leading business development efforts, he focuses on expanding partnerships and guiding the company into its next chapter.
When he’s not working, Alex enjoys spending time with his five dogs—Callie, Zoey, Roxy, Howie, and Harley (pictured)—who keep him inspired and connected to the heart of Danmar’s mission.
